Event attended by more than 200 Pakistani and Chinese business representatives leads to 40 MoUs and investment discussions in electric vehicle sector.
Pakistan-China B2B Conference has resulted in the signing of 27 agreements worth $82 million in the battery storage sector, according to officials attending the event.
The conference brought together 105 representatives from 74 Chinese companies and 136 representatives from Pakistani firms from multiple industrial and commercial sectors.
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Haroon Akhtar Khan said the event also led to the signing of 40 memorandums of understanding between companies from both countries.
He said meetings between Chinese and Pakistani businesses would support industrial cooperation, technology transfer and investment activity in Pakistan.
Haroon Akhtar Khan added that Chinese investors had shown interest in Pakistan’s electric vehicle sector during discussions held at the conference.
