Huawei has filed a revolutionary patent for a solid-state electric vehicle (EV) battery capable of delivering up to 2,000 miles of range on a single five-minute charge, international media reported earlier this week.
The technology is based on sulfide-based chemistry and is expected to offer two to three times the energy density of current lithium-ion batteries.
