Pakistan’s exports to China rise 44.79% to $927 million in Q1 2026

Zhejiang leads with over $109 million in March as demand expands across coastal and inland provinces.

Pakistan’s exports to China increased by 44.79% in the first quarter of 2026, reaching more than $927 million compared to $640.22 million in the same period last year, according to the General Administration of Customs of China.

Exports showed consistent month-on-month growth, with Zhejiang emerging as the top destination throughout the quarter.

In January, exports to Zhejiang stood at $86.7 million, followed by Beijing at $45.3 million and Fujian at $27.4 million. Other destinations included Guangdong at $16.4 million, Hebei at $13.2 million and Shandong at $13.1 million.

In February, shipments to Zhejiang rose to $100.6 million, while Beijing recorded $64.6 million and Guangdong increased to $40.0 million. Fujian received $35.7 million, followed by Guangxi at $13.7 million and Shandong at $12.1 million.

The upward trend continued in March, with exports to Zhejiang reaching $109.2 million. Fujian and Guangdong followed at $52.5 million and $51.6 million, respectively, while exports to Beijing stood at $35.4 million. Shipments to Shanghai, Shandong and Anhui also increased to $20.7 million, $20.2 million and $20.1 million, respectively.

According to China Economic Net, coastal and economically developed regions remained the primary destinations for Pakistani goods, including Zhejiang, Guangdong, Fujian, Jiangsu and Shandong.

At the same time, inland provinces such as Henan, Hunan and Sichuan recorded steady growth, indicating a wider spread of demand across China.

Pakistan’s exports to China mainly included copper and related products, cotton yarn and fabrics, seafood, rice, sesame seeds, zinc and chromium ores, and iron ore.
