The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has witnessed a surge in $1 billion plus market capitalization countries in the last couple of years.
Two years ago, only 3 companies (OGDC, Nestle & Colgate) had a market cap above $1 billion. A year ago, MEBL, MARI, UBL & PPL joined the exclusive club.
Today, the list has grown to 15 companies, reflecting strong market performance and investor confidence.
The latest entrant into the $1 billion club is National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), the fifth listed bank to surpass a market capitalization of $1 billion.
