Punjab Installs Driving Simulators in Six Cities

In line with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision for innovation, the Punjab Traffic Police is making notable progress by integrating modern technology to enhance public service. Under the leadership of the Additional IG Traffic, significant measures have been taken to improve citizen convenience.

State-of-the-art driving simulators have been installed in training centers to offer advanced driving education. In the first phase, these simulators have been deployed in major cities including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Multan, and Gujrat.

The second phase will extend this initiative to training centers in other cities across the province.

According to Additional IG Mirza Farhan Baig, the installation of these simulators aims to deliver safe and high-quality driver training. During the next phase, trainees will also receive hands-on experience on public roads.

He added that women, in particular, will benefit from the simulators as they provide a secure environment for learning to drive with confidence.
