Treet Battery Limited has launched a new lithium-ion battery product line under the brand name “Lithion NeoPower”, the company said in a notice submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
The new product line includes residential energy storage systems and lead-acid replacement battery solutions aimed at expanding its energy storage portfolio.
Treet Battery said the Residential Energy Storage System Series integrates rooftop solar systems, hybrid inverters, battery storage and intelligent energy management systems.
The company added that the Lead-Acid Replacement Series has been designed as an alternative to conventional lead-acid batteries using lithium cell technology and upgraded battery management systems.
According to the notice, the lithium-based systems offer higher energy efficiency, longer operational life and improved reliability compared to traditional lead-acid battery solutions.
The company said the launch was part of its strategy focused on product diversification, innovation and advanced energy storage solutions.
Treet Battery added that the new product range would help strengthen its position in the growing residential and commercial energy storage market.
Treet Battery Limited was established following the demerger of the battery division of First Treet Manufacturing Modaraba, a listed modaraba on the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
The company manufactures Daewoo batteries in Pakistan and produces lead-acid batteries for automotive applications, along with deep-cycle batteries used in UPS and solar power systems.
