March revenue crosses Rs30 billion with 33% growth, LTU contributes to collections.
Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) collected over Rs250 billion during the first nine months of FY2025-26, compared to Rs181 billion in the same period last year, reflecting an increase of Rs70 billion.
According to a PRA spokesperson, revenue collection in March alone exceeded Rs30 billion, up from Rs22.4 billion in March of the previous fiscal year, marking a 33% year-on-year increase.
The authority attributed the improved performance to enhanced enforcement and administrative measures during the current fiscal year.
Officials said the activation of the Large Taxpayer Unit has contributed to higher revenue collection by improving compliance among major taxpayers.
The PRA management has directed teams to continue efforts to meet annual revenue targets.
