The Pakistan Airports Authority has invited bids from local and international firms to establish and operate a transit hotel at Islamabad International Airport under a long-term lease arrangement.
According to a tender notice, the authority is offering a 10,793 square yard plot at the airport for the project, with land to be leased for 30 years, extendable by an additional 20 years on mutual agreement.
Bids will be submitted through a single-stage, two-envelope process comprising technical and financial proposals, and applicants are required to have strong financial and technical credentials. The reserve price for the land has been set at Rs. 26,250 per square yard.
Tender documents can be obtained from designated offices of the authority upon submission of a pay order or bank draft of Rs. 5,000 along with required documents, including a valid CNIC and NTN certificate.
The deadline for submission of bids is May 21, 2026, before 11:00 a.m., after which the tender box will be sealed and technical proposals opened the same day. The authority said income tax will be applicable under relevant laws, while incomplete or conditional bids will not be entertained.
