115 barrels of oil, 7 MMcf (million cubic feet) of gas, and 21 metric tons of LPG to be produced daily from Sindh; 23.85 MMcf of gas and 122 barrels of condensate gas daily from Waziristan
Islamabad (Special Correspondent): With the support of SIFC, hydrocarbon reserves have been discovered in Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). Thanks to the successful hydrocarbon exploration by Mari Petroleum and OGDCL, this is a significant step for economic stability and a major advancement in the energy sector.
From the newly discovered well in Sindh, a daily output of 115 barrels of oil, 7 million standard cubic feet of gas, and 21 metric tons of LPG is expected. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, this marks Mari Petroleum’s third consecutive successful hydrocarbon discovery. In the Waziristan block of KP, production has started with 23.85 million standard cubic feet of gas and 122 barrels of condensate gas per day.
