Oil and gas production has started from another well in Waziristan, with daily production of 26 million standard cubic feet of gas now being added to the system.
Mari Energy Company informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange via a letter that gas from the Shiwa well has been included in the system. Additionally, 240 barrels of crude oil are being extracted daily. The oil and gas production has been connected to the Sui Northern system.
In the Shiwa well, Mari Energy holds a 55% share, OGDCL has a 35% stake, and Orient Petroleum holds 10%.
